Set a Budget and Know your Requirements

In case of needful maintenance, your Agent is going to arrange it with the Landlord prior, so the Property will be in a perfect condition once you are moving in.
Secure the Property
Once you have found your New Dream Home and you are ready to proceed, secure this property by providing your passport copy and a booking / security fee. The paid Booking Fee will be transferred as the Security Deposit afterwards. The Booking Process is very important, so your Agent can take the unit off the market and secure it for you.
Sign the Contract
By the time, all terms and conditions of the lease have been agreed on, your Agent will prepare the contract for your lease. You will be ask to visit the Agent’s Office to sign the contract and get all documentation done. Please note, that you will require the Lease Cheques, Municipality Attestation Fee and the Consultation Fee on this day.
Register for the Utility Billing
In order to apply for the utility billing (FEWA), your Municipality Contract needs to be attested. The Fee for Attestation is 5% of the complete Rental Amount. Your Agent may assist you with attesting the contract and applying for the utility billing afterwards. The attestation takes up to 48 hours and the FEWA connection takes up to 24 hours.
Move into your New Home
Congratulations to your New Dream Home! Now you are almost ready to Move In. Please note, certain areas require to get a moving in permission prior the move. Depending on the area this should be arranged few day or up to 1 week prior the move. It is advised to clarify this with your agent prior moving into the new home.
